LET’S DO THIS THING…

We have sake. √. We have a taproom. √. We have a team. √. We passed our inspections and construction is officially over. √ & √.. We’re READY TO PARTY! Our soft opening summer has been wonderful, but it’s time to celebrate together and make this thing official. We did it, and by “we”, I mean this incredible community that has supported this project and helped get us to where we are today.

On October 1st, 2023, World Sake Day, we’d like to invite you to join us for our Grand Opening Party. There will be music, a food pop up, and of course- lots and lots of sake for everyone! We’ll send out another email in September with more event details, but we wanted you to save the date. Can’t wait to see you there :)

SAY HELLO TO OUR NEWEST TAPROOM BARTENDER, SARAH!

Hi I’m Sarah and I’m a new bartender at Kato Sake Works - new both to KSW and new to bartending in general! I’m from NYC but moved to this part of Brooklyn a few years ago and I love this neighborhood. After doing a tasting at Kato Sake Works over a year ago and drinking lots of sake while working on a rice farm in Japan, I’m excited to be working with, learning about (and drinking) more sake with you all. Outside of sake things, you can find me working on films, biking to the beach, and making t-shirts for my friends :)

-Sarah

PS… Fun fact. During the design phase of our buildout (before we were able to break ground with construction), Ayako used to practice her drums in the back of our completely empty warehouse… Who else can’t wait to hear Ayako play some drums in the fully finished taproom?
