THAT END OF SUMMER SAKE

You asked for more bubbly Yuzu, SO WE’RE BRINGING IT BACK!

As we all brace ourselves for these final heatwaves of the season, what better way to make it through than with a refreshing glass of bubbly yuzu sake?

Like our regular Yuzu sake, we don’t add any sugar. Instead, we press our batch a little bit earlier so that the natural residual sugars from the rice can subtly balance out the tart citrusy yuzu… and then we lightly carbonate it!

We’ll be periodically releasing Bubbly Yuzu at the brewery, but only as a limited pilot run for now… who knows, maybe it will make the official line-up soon? Stay tuned on our social media for when we’ll have it in stock next :)

WORLD SAKE DAY IS ALMOST HERE

We’re so excited that Mika is holding the second annual World Sake Day Celebration!! Last year was so much fun- with lot’s of sake tastings, specialty glassware, delicious food, and gorgeous craft artisan booths. Our team will be there again serving our limited series Sake Day Junmai. We can’t wait to party and enjoy coming together again in celebration of Sake all around the world.

This year, the event will be held on September 30th from 5-9pm at Mika. Follow along on Mika’s social media for more information on how/when to purchase your tickets. Hope to see you there! Kanpai!!

INDIA IS GOING TO INDIA!

If you don’t know India, she has been the face behind all of our social and community engagement this last year. Throughout her time with us, she helped us grow as a team and encouraged so much authentic and genuine reach for our brand- not to mention that she has been such a delightful addition to our community an incredible friend.

India, we have loved getting to work with you and can’t wait to hear of all your adventures in India over the next several months!

A few words from India:

How has it been a year already?! Thank you to everyone for the kindness, guidance, and many memories you’ve shared with me throughout this past year. It’s been a pleasure of mine to watch the KSW community grow and flourish into what it is now. For the next few months, I’ll be supporting from Bangalore, India (and smuggling a few bottles along with me) — I’ll be on the hunt for some sake shops if you have any recommendations. In the meantime, please do stay in touch. Lots of love to you all.

< KSW

PS- Happy (almost) Birthday, Ayako! We love you <3
