IT’S HOLIDAY SEASON…
AND We’re here to help with your Gift-giving NEEDs
It took more hours of browsing the web than we’d like to admit to find the right packaging, but we finally put together our first gift set- complete with a specialty Holiday bottle of Nigori and glassware for two.
We also have some “Kanpai” cards so you can personalize a note to go with your bottles now (they’ll come in the gift box or you can add one to any bottle purchase.)
However you celebrate, Kanpai and Happy Holidays!
WELCOME TO THE TEAM, JAMES!
Hey! I’m James and I’ve just started at Kato Sake Works.
I’ll be holding down the storefront on Fridays and Sundays to give everyone else at the brewery a little more time to focus on the most important mission: making sake for the people of Bushwick and beyond! When I’m not talking someone’s ear off at the shop or playing my guitar too loud you can find me sitting quietly at home stirring a big pot of soup (after all what’s life without a little bit of contrast). I first visited KSW on a tasting tour in September and was instantly wowed by Shinobu’s skill and passion for brewing. Oh, and the sake tasted alright too (;
Ever since that first sip I’ve been quietly obsessed with Kato Sake Works, and I’m immensely grateful for the opportunity to share that obsession with all of our friends and family here in Brooklyn ♡.
SEE YOU NEXT YEAR, FARMERS MARKET <
We loved getting to be a part of the Maria Hernandez RB Farmers Markets this year and will miss being out there with you over the winter months… but we’ll see you in the spring! Plus we have the whole lineup (including those warm jars of sake) back at the brewery all weekend so we hope you’ll stop by!
Here’s Shinobu pouting on the last day:
Haha, stay warm out there!

PS: Maybe you’ve heard… but our Kimoto is available again and the bottle got a purple makeover. Don’t know much about Kimoto? Come by and taste some, or stay tuned for next month’s newsletter where I’ll tell you a little bit about how it’s made.
